Vtg Vintage “Dance With Me” 1938-1940 44" Tall Dancing Doll mink collar velvet

Vintage 1938, 1940 or 1950 3 Foot Tall Dancing “Dance With Me”  DOLL
Condition:  Used/
Well Loved has damage.
Elastic band are damages and foot need sewing.
The doll was designed to attach to a child’s shoe and hands and allow the child to “dance” with the doll.
Her right hand had an elastic loop also. Stuffed cloth body, 8” tall celluloid face with yarn “hair”
She was made by A. & L. Novelty Company of Brooklyn NY.
I would date her to around 1938 to 1940s.
Approximate measurements:
3 1/2 feet tall
