    Description

    In the 50s through the 70s VW sent all the parts to build one complete VW in one crate to Venezuela and the cars were assembled there. This was to avoid the high tariffs and create local jobs.
    The factory was called Palma Sola. I went there in the 90s and purchased a container of spare parts and this was mixed in.
    The VWs had the regular serial numbers but Palma Sola also added their own Stock number.
    This was to be riveted under the trunk.
