Why do we need a wood stove fan?
Environmental protection, energy saving. No additional batteries or other energy is used, only the heat of the furnace itself can be used to make it rotate. The blades can move the hot air quickly, which helps to warm the whole room, not just around the stove, and no longer need to be so close to the stove.
How does the stove fan work?
It seems impossible, but this fan runs without batteries or other energy. As the base of the fan heats up, the metal in the bottom of the unit warms along with a heat sensitive spring. Meanwhile, the temperature of the different metals in the unit’s top surface is kept down by the fans cooling fins.
When the heat sensitive spring reaches a sufficient temperature it tilts the unit forward, bringing the two layers of metal together. This creates that turns the blade on the fan.
Protect function
There is a sheet of iron on the bottom of fan base, with the temperature rise, the iron sheet will gradually rise, which will protects fan from damage due to high temperature.
Rotating speed/wind speed: at 100℃: 560/160, at 200℃: 1130/310, at 300℃: 1300/420
