STILL REELING OUT THE SAME OLD LINE (NO FISHING) on Dark Green Galv. Sap Bucket

This is a color copy of a
Linen
(No Fishing)
postcard painted and signed by the artist ~
Bud Dudley.
He specialized in making these colorful comics.  This one definitely shows his "Intentions"with her saying ~
"STILL REELING OUT THE SAME OLD LINE".
They're sitting on the edge of a creek with his pole
and 2 fish and by his feet is a
NO FISHING
posted sign.  He's side tracked staring at her raised skirt & legs !!!
All of the galvanized antique sap buckets are cleaned,
painted, both inside and out, then the graphic is applied & then antiqued.
This can is painted with
Dark Green
, which makes the label actually stand out !!
All of the sap buckets are from New England,
where most of the maple syrup is still being made.
Most Maple syrup manufacturer's are now using P.V.C. pipe instead of buckets,
which hung on the trees.
They are soon going to become obsolete, which makes them harder & harder to get.
Someday they'll all be gone, so
