    Description

You are bidding on a high-quality reprint of the 1963 Department of the Army Technical Manual "Organizational Maintenance Manual for Tank, Combat, Full Tracked: 90-MM Gun, M48A3 W/E (2350-895-9154)" TM 9-2350-224-20, June 1963, 550p. This tank was introduced in 1952 to replace the M26 Pershing. Equipped with the 90-mm cannon, it was made by Chrysler Military, but made use of facilities at Ford and a number of other manufacturers. It was deployed as recently as 2007 in the Lebanon conflict. This manual is very detailed with many, many illustrations and photographs of all parts of the machine. Sections include Power Plant Removal and Installation, Track and Suspension System, Controls and Linkages, Gun Elevating and Turret Traversing System, Turret Electrical System, Sighting and Fire-Control System, M73 and M2 Machine Gun, Ammunition, Communication System, and many more.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO ATTEMPT HAS BEEN MADE TO USE THE SAME BINDING AND PRINTING TECHNOLOGY OF THE ORIGINAL. The reproduction is entirely modern. It is printed on 24 lb stock using a laser printer. The cover starts with card stock printed with a scan of the original front and back covers. The manual is bound using comb-binding so the manual lies flat when open. There is a 10-mil clear acetate cover on both front and rear card-stock covers.
