c.1942 KdF Kübelwagen & Schwimmwagen Manufacturing Processes
This is an Original WWII Publication by Volkswagenwerk GmbH, et al which highlights production processes of the Kommandeurwagen, Kübelwagen and Schwimmwagen. It shows panels being stamped as well as detailed images of completed components.
The term "rare" is woefully inadequate in describing this softbound KdF era Manufacturing Processes Journal with German text. It measures approximately 7" x 5" and contains 36 pages with 34 images of wartime manufacturing processes from within the Volkswagenwerk.
The title is:
"Spanlose Formung für alle Gebiete der metallverarbeitenden Industrie"
(Chipless Forming for all Areas of the Metalworking Industry)
Images on the tri-tone front cover are representative of the KdF program and include an aircraft, ship, tank, locomotive, anti-aircraft gun and a Kübelwagen. It is in exceptional overall condition with some minor wear and light foxing of the rear cover which states: "VOLKSWAGENWERK GMBH"
To find this publication in any condition whatsoever is a minor miracle, so it might be a very long wait for another to become available.
