    Description

The Quill Gordon Dry Fly is named for the fly pattern created by 19th century fly fishing legend, Theodore Gordon.
The "Quill" in the name "Quill Gordon" came from the fact that stripped peacock feather quills were, and still are, used for the body of the fly. This dry fly imitates the mayfly with the scientific name Eperous pleuralis.
The Quill Gordon Dry Fly is painted in Gouache watercolor, and is a print from my original. This is another classic pattern.
A great gift for the fly fisherman.
Size of prints are: 5" x 7",  8" x 10", or 11" x 14".   My prints arrive ready to frame and are sized to fit “off the shelf” standard retail frames.  And, Mats and frames are not included.
