For sale is Cortland's 1953 Fishing Forecaster & Line Guide. This small booklet is the perfect size for vest pocket or tackle box with a pull-out tab that gives the best days each month to fish in the categories: most, some and least. The interior provides an overview to Corland Line products including the new "333" non-sinkable fly line, other nylon fishing lines and landing nets. There is also advice on line weight and balancing rod & line. The booklet is stamped on the back, in space provided, for the retailer, Zwicker Sport & Garden Shop of Arlington (presumed Massachusetts). Six pages, saddle staple.
This vintage piece is in good condition with a bend in the lower right corner; this includes the pull tab (Jan & Feb). Booklet color is in very good condition and the cover is relatively free of visible wear except as noted.
